VMView
VmView is Windows application that allows an users remotely to connect to the station and effect one of these three tasks:
1.) See whath the system is working on
2.) Control the station
3.) View the archive of the images and of the video
User Interface with Remote Control Mode
Authorized personnel can control the station using the software VMView, easily installed on any version of the Windows. VMView has been purposely written for controlling one or more system that has the VM95 software installed. The protection security is achieved using username and password set at the initial installation and can be modified at later. The use of the interface is very intuitiveand quickly understood; the default VMView functions in the "View" mode, so that it does not interfere with the tasks being performed by the system, if required "Full Control" mode authentication is possible which allows it to interact with the movement system and the still/video camera; in this case the system will interrupt its operations and start again after the user has been disconnected. It is possible to control more than one station simultaneously from a single control window. A characteristic of the VMView not present on a standard vidio camera controlled by the browser is the possibility to record and save images on its own hard disk and take photographs of good quality in JPEG format.
24/7 Security Monitoring
VM95 can be programmed to record around the clock, and every day with a rate of 2 images per second. These images are recorded independently on how the VM95 is programmed only if the user is connected in "Full Control" mode. The access to the images can be archieved directly at any time and though an interface one can access the stored images of the last five days. Different playback modes are available to allow a fast efficient search.

Our systems have two different operational modes: Web Cam Mode, and Remote Control Mode. The possible tasks of the Web Cam Mode includes:
• Automatic changing of programmed positions
• Capture, storage and labeling of images at programmed intervals and resolutions
• Upload on ftp site
• Preparing of panoramic and successive upload
• Preparing of slides current images
• Economical use of the hard disk using compresison of stored images
• Maintainance of stored images on the Web site
Web Cam Mode is programmed to use a scheduler to effect planned tasks and if an user logs into the system remotely, VM95 automatically stops and starts from the same point when the user disconnects..
The Remote Control mode can be used only by authorized users with an username and a password in any part of the world so long that they are connected via internet. The "Full Control" mode allows the authorized user to take control of all the positioning system, moving the zoom, take photographs or video even if without broadband connection with internet. On average, using a 56k modem, one is able to transmit 1-4 frames per second. When the user disconnects there is a delay of 3 minutes before the system starts operating from where it had left off.
